DotA Forums - Forum Rules [applicable in group, in room and in-game]
PDGG is a privilege, not a right*.
Follow the rules; Use common sense; Be nice to others (esp newbie members)
Use Warcraft 3 - TFT v1.24e and Official DotA Map*.
Download and install Ventrilo if you dont have it.
Join respective Ventrilo channel when the game starts (optional).
Please use your garena username as Ventrilo username.
Ban
These are the things that will get you kicked from the group. This essentially means ban from the whole system including the PlayDotA.com room.
Using any kind of hacks*, Leaving games*, Going AFK frequently
Intentional game ruining of any kind; Bug abuse
If you earn more than 2 points of infraction in the forums*
You will be auto banned from the room if you are banned from the forums.
You can rejoin once you are unbanned from the forums.
DONTs
Don't ask why someone is not banned yet. Staffs will ban when they think it is necessary.
Don't join games if you know you cant play for at least 60 mins.
Don't cry for remake when the game isn't even half over and you're losing for the time being.
Don't just say "Remake" and leave. Wait for everyone else to agree.
Hosting/FF Rules
All games are to be at least 4v4 (5v5 preferred)*
Try to balance the teams as much as possible or use -SP (but don't use -CDSP)
Come to an agreement with everyone else before using any game mode except the followings: -AP, -RD, -SP
In case of -CD/-CM, known good players must be assigned as team leaders (blue/pink)
No -EM. Period.
If all members of a team agrees to forfeit, they can all say FF in "all chat" and quit after that.
And then wait 1 week......and then you can play..... Read the DONTS curefully, and don't tell anybody about this,..... | |
